Home Tutor in Asokoro, Abuja

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to provide private science lessons for a JSS 2 student in Asokoro, Abuja. The student is currently falling behind and needs to achieve at least 70% in science to progress to year 8.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver two hours of science instruction each session, focusing on the Nigerian curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans and practice exercises tailored to the student’s learning gaps.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to the student and parent.
• Maintain a consistent schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:00 PM.

Required profile

• Experience tutoring secondary‑school students, preferably JSS 2 level.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian science curriculum.
• Ability to motivate and improve student performance.
• Female or male tutor accepted; gender not specified.

Required skills

• Proficiency in teaching science subjects (physics, chemistry, biology) according to the Nigerian curriculum.
