About the role
We are seeking a dedicated home tutor to provide one‑on‑one chemistry lessons for a secondary school student (SSS 1) in Ajah, Lagos. The tutor will help the student master the Nigerian curriculum and achieve an A+ grade in the upcoming GCE and WAEC examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 2 hours of focused chemistry instruction each Thursday at the client’s residence.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Assess the student’s progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure mastery of key concepts.
- Provide practice questions and revision material tailored to GCE and WAEC exam formats.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of secondary‑level chemistry and familiarity with GCE/WAEC exam requirements.
- Ability to teach in English and communicate concepts clearly.
- Reliability and punctuality for the scheduled weekly session.
