Home Tutor for Nursery 1 (Montessori) – Lekki Phase 2

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to provide one‑on‑one early childhood education for a Nursery 1 student in Lekki Phase 2, Lagos. The role focuses on Montessori‑based learning, covering literacy, numeracy and phonics, with the aim of improving communication skills and building self‑confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2‑hour lessons on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 3:00 PM at the client’s home.
• Follow the Montessori curriculum to teach literacy, numeracy and phonics.
• Monitor the child’s progress and address falling‑behind areas.
• Provide supportive feedback to enhance communication and confidence.
• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience or training in early childhood education, preferably with Montessori methods.
• Comfortable working with Nursery 1 children.
• Flexible schedule to meet the specified days and times.
• Ability to travel to Lekki Phase 2.
