About the role
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for keeping a fleet of heavy‑duty trucks running safely and efficiently, performing both routine maintenance and complex repairs.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in heavy‑duty trucks.
- Carry out routine servicing such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire maintenance.
- Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and other major components.
- Perform safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience as a heavy‑duty or diesel truck mechanic.
- Strong understanding of diesel engines and truck systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant technical certification is an advantage.
