Healthcare Assistant - Pharmacy

About the role

A pharmacy in Ikeja, Lagos is looking for a dedicated, compassionate and hardworking Healthcare Assistant. The assistant supports the daily operations of the pharmacy by helping pharmacists with non-clinical duties, providing good customer service and keeping the premises clean and organised.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations and administrative tasks.
• Welcome customers, answer their questions and direct them to the pharmacist for medication advice.
• Arrange, organise and restock medications and healthcare products on shelves.
• Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates and report low stock or expired products to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean and well-organised pharmacy environment.
• Help with inventory management, stocktaking and recordkeeping.

Required profile

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC, OND or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, hospital or healthcare facility is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare products and pharmacy operations is desirable.

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic computer literacy and recordkeeping skills.
