Health Worker

About the role

Mayristics Enterprise is hiring a full-time Health Worker in Lagos (Marina). The role supports employee health and wellness by referring staff to healthcare professionals, maintaining wellness records and helping create a safe and healthy workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Recognize situations requiring medical attention and refer employees to qualified healthcare professionals.
• Maintain records of workplace wellness activities while protecting confidential health information.
• Support emergency response procedures within the scope of their training.
• Assist management in promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
• Participate in health campaigns and preventive healthcare initiatives.
• Provide reliable health information, promote healthy lifestyle practices and give basic education on nutrition, hygiene, exercise and disease prevention.
• Support workplace health and wellness programs and assist with basic health screenings within the limits of their training.
• Educate employees about regular medical checkups and encourage proper hygiene and safety practices.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or training in healthcare, community health, public health, nursing or a related field.
• Appropriate professional registration or licensing where required for the duties performed.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic health education and preventive healthcare.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Compassion, integrity and respect for confidentiality; ability to work with employees and management.
