Pharmacy Trainee

About the role

Hec Recruit is recruiting a full-time Pharmacy Trainee in Lagos, Nigeria. The trainee works alongside licensed pharmacists, learning pharmacy practice while supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Provide basic counseling to customers on drug use and general wellness under supervision.
• Support inventory management, stock arrangement and monitoring of expiry dates.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation.
• Learn and follow PCN regulations and standard pharmacy practices.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized and provide good customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized university.
• Recently completed or currently undergoing internship or NYSC is acceptable.
• Interest in community or hospital pharmacy practice.
• Basic knowledge of common drugs and their uses.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to learn, attention to detail and integrity.
• Must reside in Lagos or be willing to relocate.
