About the role

Margaret Lawrence University Teaching Hospital is recruiting qualified medical consultants to strengthen its clinical services across a wide range of specialties. The successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team in Abuja, delivering high‑quality patient care in their respective fields.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical services in the assigned subspecialty.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship of junior medical staff where applicable.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
• Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College or West African College (or equivalent) in the relevant subspecialty.
• Registration eligibility with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria for foreign‑trained specialists.
• Current practicing medical license.
• NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter (for Nigerian applicants).
