Health Care Administrator

About the role

Dame Chops & Events, a professional catering and event management company based in Ikeja, Lagos, is recruiting a Health Care Administrator on a full-time basis. The role covers the day-to-day running of the office, including medical and staff records, budget monitoring and liaison with medical professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Order medical and office supplies
• Develop and implement office policies and procedures
• Liaise with doctors and nurses to identify potential office dysfunctions
• Monitor budget and billing payments
• Supervise office staff, including receptionists, secretaries and cashiers
• Arrange cleaning staff and emergency maintenance services as necessary
• Generate inventory records and maintain medical and staff records
• Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards
• Provide informative material for patients

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or a relevant field
• Proven work experience as a medical office manager
• Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
• Ability to handle medical records discreetly

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles
• Communication skills and a customer service orientation
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
