Head of Sales - Motorcycles, Three Wheelers & Ag Equipment

About the role

An experienced, results-driven Product Head / Sales Head is sought to lead the business in Nigeria, covering motorcycles, three-wheelers, agriculture equipment and battery inverters. The role covers sales growth, dealer network development, product positioning, market expansion, team management and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business strategies for the motorcycle division
• Drive revenue, market share, volume growth and profitability
• Expand and manage the dealer and distributor network across assigned markets
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and customer preferences
• Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to meet business targets
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, finance and after-sales teams
• Monitor inventory, product availability, dealer performance and outstanding payments
• Develop sales forecasts, budgets and periodic performance reports
• Build strong relationships with dealers, fleet customers and other key stakeholders

Required profile

• B.Tech. or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline; MBA preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in motorcycle, two-wheeler or automobile sales
• Proven experience in team handling, dealer management and business development
• Experience in African markets is mandatory
