Head of Production

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Head of Production to lead our video production unit in Abuja. The role combines creative vision with operational excellence, ensuring every project meets brand standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all phases of video production from pre‑production planning to post‑production delivery.
• Direct production teams, overseeing editing, cinematography, lighting, sound and overall quality.
• Develop and enforce production workflows, SOPs and quality‑control processes.
• Mentor interns and junior creatives, building a skilled production workforce.
• Integrate AI‑powered production tools to boost efficiency and creativity.
• Collaborate with marketing, creative and other departments to meet project timelines.
• Continuously improve processes to reduce errors, rework and missed deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in video production, content creation or a similar leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage teams, mentor talent and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong project‑management, organizational and communication skills.
• Independent work style with ownership of deliverables.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
• Advanced proficiency in After Effects.
• Advanced proficiency in CapCut Pro.
• Practical experience with AI‑powered production tools.
