Head of Product, Digital Collections

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Product for our Digital Collections platform to lead the design and scaling of data‑driven tools that optimise debt recovery. You will own the product vision, drive automation, and work closely with engineering and external partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve collection strategies, analytical models and tools.
• Set and monitor key performance indicators to ensure portfolio growth and operational efficiency.
• Identify growth opportunities, run pilots and implement new collection approaches.
• Lead automation initiatives across telephony, robotic process automation and system integrations.
• Develop and refine scoring models to enhance segmentation and recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to integrate cutting‑edge solutions.
• Automate reporting, manage KPI dashboards and motivate the collection team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role within a bank, micro‑finance institution or collection agency.
• Proven track record of designing, launching and optimising business processes in debt collection.
• Experience implementing automated collection systems, including robotic tools and telephony.

Required skills

• Strong SQL knowledge for data analysis and optimisation.
• Understanding of APIs, system integration, backlog management and task prioritisation.
• Familiarity with telephony platforms and robotic process automation tools.
