Head of Operations

About the role

Cadsync Consults is looking for a Head of Operations to lead day-to-day operations and turn organisational strategy into actionable plans. The role covers budgeting, cash flow, financial reporting, cost control and business performance, as well as recruitment, onboarding, staff development, performance management and team coordination. It sits within the education sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and oversee budgeting, cash flow, financial reporting, cost control and business performance.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, staff development, performance management and team coordination.
• Ensure quality programme delivery, learner satisfaction and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Develop operational systems, policies, processes and reporting structures.
• Identify growth opportunities, build partnerships and support the development of digital learning solutions.
• Promote safeguarding, accountability, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in operations, business management, finance, project management or team leadership.
• Experience in education or youth development, HR and recruitment, safeguarding, digital learning platforms or managing a growing business is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong financial literacy, organisational, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in digital tools, spreadsheets, business systems and reporting.
