Head of IT

About the role

Platinum Edge Consulting is seeking a senior IT leader to oversee all technology operations for its banking and finance clients in Anambra State. The Head of IT will drive the strategy, implementation and maintenance of critical infrastructure and digital banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage LAN and WAN infrastructure, hardware, power systems, operating systems and firmware.
• Oversee banking business applications and digital banking suites (mobile, internet, USSD).
• Produce technology reports and provide strategic advice to senior management and the board.
• Liaise with regulators, vendors and third‑party partners on ICT matters.
• Lead and develop the IT team to ensure high‑availability and security.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT management experience in a micro‑finance department of a commercial bank.
• Cisco certification.
• Residency and ability to work in Southeast Nigeria.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and vulnerability testing.
