Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance to lead and build our Group Finance function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape financial strategy, oversee reporting and governance, and support capital‑raising initiatives across a growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and build the Group Finance function, establishing processes, systems and controls.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and cash‑flow management.
• Oversee treasury, tax, compliance and statutory reporting.
• Lead financial reporting, controls and governance across the organisation.
• Manage construction and project finance, including contractor payments, CAPEX monitoring, project cash flows, valuation certificates, mobilisation advances, retention and cost reporting.
• Implement scalable finance systems and continuous process improvements.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Design financial architecture for investment vehicles such as SPVs, waterfalls, NAV, reserves and investor reporting.
• Support the CEO on strategic initiatives, including capital raising and investment platform development.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CFA qualification.
• Significant experience leading finance functions within a growing business.
• Proven ability to build finance processes, systems and controls from the ground up.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting and governance.
• Hands‑on experience in construction or project finance.
• Commercial acumen and financial modelling capability.
• Leadership style that enjoys building, improving and leading finance teams.
• Experience with investment structures, SPVs or institutional fundraising is an advantage.
