Head of Aftersales (GREE AC)

About the role

CIG Motors is hiring a Head of Aftersales for its subsidiary GREE AC, a leading global HVAC brand delivering cooling solutions for residential, commercial and industrial markets. The role leads and grows the aftersales division as a full-scale business unit, turning it into a profit-generating operation while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, nationwide coverage and service innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the aftersales function as a strategic business unit with full P&L responsibility, develop a nationwide strategy and identify new revenue streams in services, AMC, parts, extended warranty and technical solutions.
• Oversee service centers, service partners and dealer networks, ensuring consistent technical standards, fast response times and strong customer touchpoints.
• Ensure top-tier technical capability in troubleshooting, VRF diagnostics and inverter AC systems, and raise First-Time Fix Rate, NPS and CSAT scores.
• Lead and mentor nationwide aftersales teams, drive technician certification and continuous upskilling, and build a high-performance culture.
• Manage warranty administration, claims validation, genuine spare parts availability, stock planning and service partner contracts and SLAs.
• Strengthen customer retention, manage major escalations and institutional clients, and maintain strong dealer and distributor relationships.
• Track national service KPIs and dashboards, deliver monthly performance reports and ensure compliance with policies, safety standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years in HVAC aftersales or service operations, with at least 5 years in senior leadership or national management roles.
• Proven experience managing a nationwide service operation or aftersales business unit.
• Strong business acumen with P&L and commercial management experience.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of inverter air conditioners, VRF systems and advanced diagnostics.
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven decision-making, strategic thinking and process improvement capability.
