Growth Performance Marketer – Consumer

About the role

You will own user acquisition and activation for a consumer mobile product targeting African markets, with a focus on Nigeria. Reporting directly to leadership, you will shape the strategy that drives millions of users through viral, community‑driven and mobile‑first channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full acquisition funnel—from awareness to install to activation—across social, referral, influencer, app‑store and partnership channels.
• Design and run a rigorous experimentation engine for onboarding flows, push notifications, in‑app nudges and referral mechanics.
• Build and maintain dashboards tracking installs, activation rates, DAU/MAU, retention cohorts, referral coefficient, CAC and LTV.
• Lead App Store Optimization (ASO) for both Play Store and App Store, handling keywords, screenshots, ratings and review management.
• Design and scale referral and invite programs leveraging WhatsApp, organic sharing loops and other social networks.
• Partner with product teams to reduce onboarding friction and accelerate time‑to‑value.
• Implement and manage attribution and tracking infrastructure (MMPs, deep linking, SDK events) for paid and organic channels.
• Oversee budget forecasting, pacing and spend efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mobile user acquisition and activation, preferably in African markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to hypothesize, test, measure and iterate quickly.
• Comfort working autonomously in a high‑growth, data‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with product, leadership and external partners.
