Group Chief Executive Officer

About the role

The Group Chief Executive Officer will lead GPFI Holdings Ltd, a market‑leading facilities management group in Africa. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will protect the company’s legacy while accelerating pan‑African growth and embedding sustainable, technology‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute long‑term pan‑African growth strategies and oversee country‑level CEOs and managing directors.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with tier‑1 corporate clients, ensuring operational excellence and institutional‑grade service delivery.
• Drive expansion into new African markets, leveraging urbanisation and commercial real‑estate opportunities.
• Lead ESG compliance, energy‑efficiency programmes and the integration of smart‑tech, PropTech and IoT across the portfolio.
• Assume full P&L responsibility for all subsidiaries, manage capital allocation, budgeting and corporate fundraising.
• Represent GPFI as a brand ambassador in policy dialogues with governments, regulators, sovereign institutions and development finance entities.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
• Proven C‑suite experience leading large, multi‑country organisations, preferably in facilities management or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full P&L, drive revenue growth and secure financing.
• Strong track record of building strategic partnerships with corporate and public‑sector stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 41001 standards.
• Experience with PropTech, Internet of Things (IoT) and data‑analytics solutions.
• Expertise in ESG compliance and energy‑efficiency initiatives.
• Ability to integrate smart‑technology platforms across large asset portfolios.
