Graphic Designer – Remote Contract (1-year renewable)

About the role

The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to join its team on a one‑year renewable contract. The role is fully remote and supports UNOPS’s communication and outreach activities across social media, publications and internal documents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop digital designs for social media channels and office documents.
• Create layouts and graphic designs for publications and reports.
• Present design concepts and ideas to the team.
• Produce clear, concise visual materials that convey key messages.
• Provide ad‑hoc design support for print and digital advertisements.
• Edit and improve photos, charts and other graphic elements.
• Maintain a graphic works library and ensure brand consistency.
• Collaborate with colleagues to offer guidance on graphic design and illustration.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Minimum two years of graphic design experience in international development, NGOs or related sectors.
• Fluent English; working knowledge of French or another UNOPS official language is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud – After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Competence in Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint.
