Graphic Designer & Print Operator Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a versatile and detail‑oriented Graphic Designer & Print Operator Assistant to support both creative design and hands‑on print production. Reporting to the Project Lead, you will create internal and external visual assets while operating and maintaining a range of specialised printing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design internal corporate communications such as employee birthday banners, work‑anniversary spotlights, welcome flyers and staff identity cards.
• Produce external marketing collateral, product packaging labels, stickers and tags, ensuring files are pre‑press ready with correct colour profiles, bleeds and resolution.
• Set up, calibrate and operate large‑format printers, ID‑card printers and commercial digital/label printers, selecting appropriate media, substrates and inks.
• Perform post‑print finishing (cutting, laminating, binding, eyeletting) and conduct quality checks, routine cleaning, nozzle checks and minor troubleshooting of all equipment.

• Large‑format printing operation (vinyl, banners, posters).
• ID‑card printing (PVC, thermal encoding).
• Commercial digital and label printing.
• Pre‑press file preparation (CMYK, bleed, resolution, vector formatting).
• Print media and substrate selection.
• Finishing techniques (cutting, weeding, laminating, binding, eyeletting).
• Print equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
