Graduate Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate with mechanical engineering experience to join our team in Lagos. The role involves supporting the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems within a construction engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Operate lathe, rolling, milling, and forming machines in production processes.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards during all maintenance activities.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new projects.

Required profile

• HND/BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an engineering company.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a hands‑on approach.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CNC, lathe, forming, rolling and milling machines.
• Proficiency with engineering software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Computer literacy.
