About the role
The Exxon Mobil Graduate Internship Programme offers recent Nigerian engineering graduates the chance to gain hands‑on experience in a world‑leading petroleum company. Interns will be placed in one of several operational units and will work on real projects from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily activities in the assigned unit (Industrial Hygiene, Production Engineering, Offshore Operations, Safety, Health & Environment, Drilling Engineering or Maintenance).
- Apply academic knowledge to solve practical engineering problems.
- Assist senior engineers with data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Participate in on‑the‑job training, mentoring sessions and safety briefings.
Required profile
- Nigerian graduate with a B.Eng. in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Process or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum Second Class Upper (2:1) classification, graduation no earlier than 2018.
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) no earlier than 2020.
