About the role
Tekhols Schools is seeking a dedicated Grade Level Teacher to join its team in Ibadan. The role involves delivering curriculum to a specific age group, fostering a supportive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues. The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s mission of academic excellence and holistic student development.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed lesson plans and create age‑appropriate teaching materials.
- Assess student work, grade assignments, administer tests and keep performance records.
- Manage classroom behaviour, set expectations and maintain a safe, respectful atmosphere.
- Provide pastoral care, mentor students and support personal development.
- Communicate regularly with parents through reports, emails and conferences.
- Participate in grade‑level meetings, work with support staff for special‑needs students and handle administrative duties.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of an NCE.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience.
