Global Events & Partnerships Executive

About the role

The Global Events & Partnerships Executive will lead the planning, coordination and execution of Lagos Tech Week events, including conferences, workshops, networking sessions and partner activations. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Lagos State and works closely with local and international technology ecosystem stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end event project lifecycle: budgeting, timelines, vendor and venue coordination, content scheduling and on‑ground execution.
• Develop and maintain partner relationships, secure sponsorships and create collaboration opportunities with organisations across the tech sector.
• Track event performance, prepare post‑event reports and support marketing and outreach activities to enhance attendee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and coordinating conferences, workshops or networking events.
• Strong partnership development and relationship‑management abilities, with a track record of securing sponsorships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑engagement skills in diverse settings.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lagos and attend evening or weekend events when required.

• Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools such as spreadsheets, presentation software and project‑management platforms.
• Project‑management and organisational capabilities, including budgeting and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
