General Manager - Luxury Residential Properties

About the role

The General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations, business performance, administration and facility management of two high-end luxury residential properties in Maitama, Abuja. Reporting directly to the Managing Director/CEO, the role bridges technical building expertise with executive hospitality standards, covering facility upkeep, financial accountability, team leadership and premium service for expatriate residents. The position is full-time and onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Operational management: run daily business and property operations, represent the Managing Director in strategic meetings, report regularly to executive management, and ensure targets are met on time, within budget and to the required quality.
• Facility management: proactively identify and resolve routine and emergency maintenance needs, oversee building technology, HVAC, power, plumbing, security systems and structural maintenance, source vendors, negotiate service contracts and supervise contractors.
• Service delivery: resolve resident and tenant inquiries, complaints and service requests within agreed turnaround times.
• Financial management: manage facility petty cash and expense disbursements, oversee operational budgets, keep records transparent and manage vendors cost-effectively.
• Human resources: lead, mentor and recruit the operational and maintenance teams, handle salary administration, performance appraisals and discipline, drive training and monitor workload, performance and safety standards.
