General Manager – Investment, Construction & Real Estate

About the role

The family office is seeking a General Manager to lead its newly created portfolio of businesses in real estate development, construction, and battery energy storage. Reporting directly to the principals, you will act with CEO‑level authority across multiple subsidiaries, driving growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute business strategy for each subsidiary, aligning the family’s vision with P&L results.
• Oversee financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, audit oversight, and ROI accountability.
• Lead due‑diligence, acquisition, and scaling of investment assets and operating companies.
• Build and manage senior management teams, set KPIs, and establish performance‑driven operating rhythms.
• Represent the family office with banks, regulators, partners, and government bodies.
• Ensure full regulatory and legal compliance within the Nigerian business environment.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of senior management experience across diversified businesses in Nigeria.
• Bachelor’s degree minimum; MBA or postgraduate qualification strongly preferred.
• Proven exposure to real estate, construction, or investment holding structures.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, discretion, and strong financial acumen.
