Full‑time Remote PhD Candidate – Business & Management Research

About the role

The Franklin International Business School is seeking a full‑time remote PhD Candidate to conduct advanced research in business and management. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while receiving supervision from faculty across its global partner network.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and supervised research, including literature reviews and methodology design.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret qualitative and/or quantitative data.
• Write academic papers, dissertations, and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Participate in online seminars, workshops, and supervisory meetings.
• Present research findings at virtual conferences and academic forums.
• Collaborate with faculty and peers from partner institutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MSc, MBA or equivalent) in business, management, economics or a related field.
• Strong research, critical‑thinking and academic writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet academic deadlines.
• Demonstrated interest in advanced business and management topics with a clear research focus.
• Commitment to ethical research practices and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools for online learning, collaboration and research (e.g., learning management systems, reference managers, data‑analysis software).
