About the role

The Ocularist Eye Clinic in Abuja is seeking a full‑time Optometrist to join its multidisciplinary team. You will deliver high‑quality eye examinations, diagnose visual disorders and contribute to the care of patients requiring artificial eyes or facial prostheses.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations for a diverse patient base.
• Diagnose and manage visual impairments, prescribing corrective lenses or treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with specialists in prosthetic and facial reconstruction to support patients with artificial eyes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinic standards.

Required profile

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree with a current practicing license.
• Experience conducting thorough eye examinations and managing visual health.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work empathetically with diverse patients.
• Familiarity with prosthetic‑related care is an advantage.
