Fullstack Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer to join Moniepoint’s remote team. You will help build scalable backend services and intuitive front‑end interfaces that power financial products used by millions across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms and flowcharts in collaboration with other developers.
• Write clean, efficient code in Node.js, TypeScript and related frameworks according to specifications.
• Integrate third‑party services and software components.
• Deploy, verify and maintain applications in a cloud environment.
• Debug, troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems based on user feedback.
• Produce technical documentation and reports.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years working with the MERN stack.
• 2+ years experience in an object‑oriented language such as Java or C#.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test‑driven development.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
