Fullstack Development Instructor

About the role

ITSkillsCenter is seeking a passionate Fullstack Development Instructor to join its teaching team. The role focuses on delivering a comprehensive MERN‑stack curriculum and guiding learners from beginner to job‑ready level.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver engaging lessons on MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.
• Maintain and update course materials, projects and assessments to reflect industry standards.
• Provide hands‑on mentorship, code reviews and technical interview coaching.
• Guide students through real‑world projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Monitor student progress, identify gaps and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to continuously improve content.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant updates.

Required profile

• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Patience and adaptability when working with learners of varying skill levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency with the full MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and using state‑management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth) and deployment platforms (Vercel, Netlify, Render, basic AWS/GCP).
• Database design experience with MongoDB; knowledge of SQL databases is a plus.
