Full-time Child Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Child Caregiver to join our Montessori centre in Abuja. The role involves providing attentive, nurturing care to infants and young children throughout the school day, supporting their daily routines and overall well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise infants and young children, ensuring safety at all times.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, dressing, and other daily care activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic classroom environment.
• Support teachers in delivering age‑appropriate learning and play activities.
• Monitor children’s health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Foster positive social interaction among children.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff members.
• Perform additional childcare‑related duties as assigned by the centre.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in childcare or a related field.
• At least an NCE qualification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of child development, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Patient, kind, and compassionate personality.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and child‑friendly environment.
