Full-time Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, build and maintain robust server‑side applications. The role involves working across the full software lifecycle, from concept through deployment and ongoing support, to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance backend code using Python and Django.
• Deliver end‑to‑end features: design, build, test, deploy and support.
• Collaborate with product managers and front‑end developers to translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Build prototypes during the scoping phase and create reusable libraries.
• Integrate front‑end components with server‑side logic and ensure optimal performance.
• Standardise platforms across multiple brands while minimising duplication.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Python/Django developer.
• Degree from a recognised university.
• Strong teamwork, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
