Full-Stack Software Engineer – Full-time

About the role

Questence is looking for a Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join a small, high‑ownership team building cloud‑based eLearning products. You will work closely with the Lead Engineer to design, develop, and ship features across both backend and frontend components of our multi‑tenant platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product features across the full technology stack.
• Implement RESTful APIs, data models, and responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Help optimise performance for low‑bandwidth and emerging‑market environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proficiency with React (or a similar library) and a backend language/framework.
• Comfortable working with REST APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, Git, and automated testing.
• Experience with SaaS products, multi‑tenant architectures, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
