Full Stack Engineer (MERN & Nest.js)

About the role

We are building a modern, scalable platform that connects skilled service providers with customers. As a Full Stack Engineer you will lead development on our core platform, taking ownership of both frontend and backend, and driving performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Take over and evolve a full‑stack platform built by an external team.
• Build performant UIs using React.js and TypeScript.
• Extend and maintain backend APIs with Nest.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Optimize data models and queries in MongoDB/Mongoose.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and DevOps workflows.
• Deploy cloud‑native applications on Azure, DigitalOcean, or AWS.
• Implement observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with design, product, and leadership to shape features and technical direction.
• Help define engineering culture, standards, and future team structure.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack or backend experience.
• Proven expertise in the MERN stack and Nest.js.
• Strong grasp of TypeScript and modern frontend practices.
• Experience taking over and improving existing codebases.
• Hands‑on with Docker, CI/CD tools, and cloud deployment workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, thriving in async, remote‑first teams.
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and infrastructure as code.
