Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Preferred Digital Business Solutions (PDBS) is looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join its remote team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET, C#, and React while collaborating with product, design, and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full‑stack web applications with .NET, C#, and React.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Create responsive, user‑friendly front‑end interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical decision‑making.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack, applying security best practices and performance optimisations.
• Deploy applications to Azure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Design cloud‑native solutions such as microservices and containers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core.
• Hands‑on experience with React.js.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• PostgreSQL query writing, schema design, and optimisation.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to microservices, containers, and cloud‑native architecture.
