Full Stack Developer

About the role

Bowmenn, a tech‑enabled logistics platform operating in Nigeria, is seeking a full‑time on‑site Full Stack Developer in Abuja. You will design, build and maintain the web and mobile applications that power its owned fleet and third‑party carrier network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js or Next.js.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Create and maintain mobile applications with React Native (preferred) or Flutter.
• Integrate logistics functionalities such as Google Maps, GPS tracking, payment gateways, SMS and WhatsApp notifications.
• Design and optimise database schemas and ensure platform scalability.
• Deploy applications on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure, manage servers, backups and scaling.
• Implement AI features using OpenAI APIs, build chat‑bots and automate support workflows.
• Apply security best practices including authentication, data encryption, API security and fraud prevention.

Required profile

• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js/Next.js and Node.js.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and REST API development.
• Hands‑on mobile development using React Native or Flutter.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with AI integration, OpenAI APIs and chatbot development.
• Knowledge of logistics‑specific integrations: Google Maps, GPS tracking, payment, SMS/WhatsApp and real‑time notifications.
• Understanding of security concepts: user authentication, encryption, API security and fraud mitigation.
• Nice‑to‑have experience building logistics, transportation, marketplace or fleet‑management systems.
