Fuel Loading and Logistics Officer

About the role

Dangote Cement Plc is looking for an experienced Fuel Loading and Logistics Officer to manage the supply chain of AGO/fuel at its Ibeju Lekki site. The role involves planning, organizing and monitoring transportation, inventory and distribution while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Track fuel movement and reconcile received versus dispatched volumes to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Coordinate efficient and timely loading of AGO from the refinery, ensuring schedule adherence and volume accuracy.
• Monitor tank levels, metering accuracy and loading safety protocols; conduct risk assessments and implement loss‑prevention measures.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports, identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Work with finance for invoice verification and payment processing, and with IT to optimise logistics tracking tools.
• Maintain relationships with corporate clients, address queries and explore upselling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND from a reputable institution.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in oil & gas and logistics.
• Proven ability to oversee loading operations, ensure compliance with HSE and refinery regulations, and manage inventory documentation.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with refinery staff, transporters and regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and process optimisation capabilities.
