Frontend Engineer

About the role

Moniepoint Inc. is looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and maintain high‑quality web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. You will work closely with the Enterprise Architect to translate requirements into functional, scalable solutions and lead technical projects with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement clean, efficient front‑end code for web clients.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Automate repetitive tasks using appropriate tools and scripts.
• Review, debug, and test code to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to improve products.
• Document development phases and monitor system health.
• Keep software up‑to‑date with the latest technologies.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer.
• 4+ years of experience with React, Angular, and JavaScript.
• Experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
• Comfortable working on Linux, macOS, and Windows environments.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
• Minimum a B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
