Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

The Food and Beverage Manager will lead all food and beverage operations at Premier Hotel Ibadan, overseeing the restaurant, bar, banquet and room‑service outlets. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures consistent quality, safety and guest satisfaction across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach food service staff across multiple outlets.
• Coordinate menus with the culinary team and maintain service standards.
• Monitor inventory, procurement and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and manage the department budget, control costs and produce financial reports.
• Track performance metrics, analyse results and implement service improvements.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on events, promotions and overall business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing food and beverage operations in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service focus with a track record of resolving guest issues.
• Effective communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control and financial reporting for F&B departments.
