Flight Ticketing and Reservation Officer

About the role

The Flight Ticketing and Reservation Officer manages the full spectrum of airline booking operations, issuing and modifying tickets, handling cancellations and refunds, and acting as a reliable source of accurate travel information for clients. The role works closely with airline partners, travel agencies and internal departments to meet client needs efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients through reservations for domestic and international flights and handle bookings, reissues, cancellations and refunds using GDS and airline platforms.
• Provide flight times, prices, routes, baggage allowances and required documents such as visas.
• Manage ticket changes, refunds, exchanges and credit applications in line with carrier rules.
• Validate passenger information and travel documents, track flight status and notify clients of delays or changes.
• Create travel itineraries, obtain confirmations and resolve client queries and booking issues.
• Maintain accurate reservation and client records in the booking system and liaise with airlines and suppliers.
• Handle financial transactions, generate receipts and reconcile sales figures where needed.
• Work with the Digital Marketing Team on travel offers and promotions, and stay up to date on fares, promotions and travel alerts.
