Financial Planning Analyst

About the role
Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to support the Head of Group FP&A. The role will manage the Group’s forecasting, budgeting and reporting cycles and serve as the primary FP&A contact for subsidiaries without a dedicated analyst.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Group consolidation model each month, reconciling actuals to forecasts and highlighting variances.
- Provide forecasting, budgeting and management‑reporting support to subsidiaries lacking FP&A resources.
- Prepare Board and management reporting packs on a fixed monthly/quarterly cadence.
- Support the annual budget process, including template creation, data collection, consolidation and variance commentary.
- Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts and draft narrative explanations.
- Track KPIs and unit‑economics across assigned entities.
- Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests from the CFO, Head of Group FP&A or subsidiary leadership.
Required profile
- 4‑6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis or a related corporate finance role.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Experience handling multi‑entity or multi‑currency data.
- Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent analytical background.
- Preferred experience in banking, fintech or other regulated environments and exposure to Board‑level reporting.
