Financial Market Sales

About the role

The Financial Market Sales professional will promote and sell Access Bank’s financial market products—including foreign exchange, fixed income and money market instruments—to corporate and institutional clients in Lagos. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions and providing market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client requirements and propose appropriate financial market products.
• Execute FX, fixed income and money‑market transactions and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor market trends and deliver timely market intelligence to clients.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with trading, research and relationship‑management teams to achieve sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales experience with a focus on meeting targets and cross‑selling in financial markets.
• Familiarity with distribution or channel‑management processes such as Direct Store Delivery.
• Experience in training clients or internal teams on products and market developments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; professional certifications (CFA, ACI) are a plus.

• Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments and regulatory environment in Nigeria and Sub‑Saharan Africa.
• Analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving capabilities.
