Financial Controller

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function at its Benin City property. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while supporting the hotel’s overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and maintain robust financial controls.
• Prepare and manage the annual hotel budget, monthly forecasts, and profit & loss statements.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Analyse financial performance, identify improvement opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Leadership skills with a hands‑on, lead‑by‑example approach.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial audiences.
