About the role
BuyPower is simplifying consumer payments in Nigeria and building next‑generation energy services. The company is cash‑flow positive, backed by YCombinator, and looking for a Financial Analyst to support its rapid growth.
Key responsibilities
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and create models for decision support.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for leadership reviews.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate reporting.
- Guide cost analysis, enforce policies, and develop automated reporting tools.
- Maintain market research, data mining, and valuation comps.
Required profile
- 1‑3+ years of business finance or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong analytical and data‑gathering skills.
