Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a competent and detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to support our finance operations and strengthen financial reporting, controls, and accountability within the business. The Financial Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, monitor transactions, and provide financial insights for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records.
• Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑analysis activities.
• Monitor expenses and identify areas for improved financial control.
• Support inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and production cost monitoring.
• Assist with audit processes and statutory financial requirements.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or trading environment is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Honest, organized, accountable and able to work independently.
• Residence in Moshalashi, Alagbado or nearby areas.
