Finance Manager

About the role

Schneider Electric is looking for a Finance Manager to maintain financial accuracy and compliance. The role takes ownership of accurate financial records, compliant accounting operations, tax and statutory reporting, and effective financial controls for the territory. It combines hands-on accounting execution with professional judgement, independent prioritisation and guidance of other finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Run day-to-day accounting, keeping transactions complete, accurate and recorded on time, and manage the general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and provisions
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, payment cycles and collections, escalating material issues
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, analyse balance sheet and income statement movements and support management reporting
• Handle local tax accounting and reporting, ensure compliance with local regulations and coordinate audit preparation and statutory audits
• Strengthen internal controls, standardise processes and support change initiatives
• Work with finance colleagues, business stakeholders, auditors and tax advisers, setting priorities independently

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA strongly preferred
• Significant hands-on experience in financial accounting, financial statements, tax accounting, reconciliations, audit preparation, internal control and compliance
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards and local statutory and tax requirements
• Experience in a complex or multinational environment is advantageous

Required skills

• Practical experience with SAP ERP
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
