Finance Manager – CNG, Fuel & AGO Management

About the role

Dangote Cement Plc is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial control, performance monitoring and cost optimisation for its CNG, fuel and AGO operations. The role supports the company’s transition to lower‑cost energy sources while ensuring accurate reporting and strong governance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end financial accounting for CNG, AGO and LPG operations, including fuel consumption, inventory movements and conversion costs.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly fuel consumption reports and reconcile SAP records with physical and operational data.
• Monitor CNG truck utilisation, conversion performance and validate vendor billing for CNG services.
• Control diesel (AGO) consumption across plants and transport fleet.
• Ensure accurate accounting of conversion costs (Capex vs Opex) and support strategic cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or financial planning.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and financial modelling abilities.
• Extensive experience with SAP financial systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning.
