About the role
The Finance Executive will join MetroHealth HMO Limited’s finance team in Lagos, supporting the organization’s mission to deliver affordable healthcare through robust financial management. This role involves overseeing financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing insight for budgeting and forecasting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and periodic reports.
- Manage reconciliations, journal entries, and all financial transactions.
- Monitor claims processing and provider payments to ensure timely settlement.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Utilize Sage Accounting Software for data management and reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in the HMO/health‑insurance sector (mandatory).
- Professional accounting certification such as ICA Nigeria (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
