Finance Coordinator – Program & Grant Management

About the role

The Finance Coordinator supports accurate, compliant, and timely financial management of program and grant resources at IPAS, a nonprofit dedicated to safe abortion care. The role ensures high‑quality transaction processing, budget tracking, and financial documentation to enable sound financial decisions and meet donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process, record, and maintain financial transactions for programs, grants, and sub‑awards in line with organizational standards.
• Conduct timely reconciliations and keep reliable financial records within the ERP system.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, identify variances, and support escalation of potential overspends.
• Provide accurate financial inputs for donor and internal program reports, ensuring documentation is organized and audit‑ready.
• Support financial review processes for sub‑awardees and partners, verifying completeness and correctness of their documentation.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, donor requirements, and internal controls; prepare statutory and financial documentation on schedule.

Required profile

• Experience processing financial transactions for programs, grants, or sub‑awards.
• Ability to conduct reconciliations and maintain accurate records in an ERP system.
• Proficiency in monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and reporting variances.
• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and audit readiness.
• Knowledge of compliance, internal controls, and statutory financial documentation.
