About the role
We are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join our fintech finance team in Ikeja. You will support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with audits and tax inspections.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily receipts and payments in sub‑ledgers and the financial system.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash on hand to ensure accurate closing.
- Pre‑audit vouchers for authenticity and numerical accuracy before entry.
- Classify, sort, bind, and archive physical financial documents.
- Maintain an indexing system for quick retrieval of accounting and tax records.
- Support audit and tax inspections by extracting and organizing required documents.
- Handle ad‑hoc financial tasks and temporary tax‑related assistance as assigned.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic financial principles and accounting standards.
- Highly meticulous, detail‑oriented, and organized.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
What we offer
- Transport allowance, food allowance, and punctuality bonus.
- Full‑time onsite schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
- Gross salary of NGN 120,000.
